From Megaport’s inception, we’ve been built for flexibility, with employees able to choose flexible work hours and to work from home as needed. They’ve also had the ability to change those arrangements as circumstances dictated. We closed our main offices as necessary when there was a local outbreak, and we offered assistance to employees experiencing COVID related hardships. In the early days of COVID, we implemented a company-wide work from home trial day to test our business continuity capabilities in the event all staff were required to work remotely. As expected, the team and systems performed well. Megaport was “born in the cloud” and many of our staff in the US, Europe and Asia have always worked from home. Today, we are operating in a hybrid model, with employees who are located near an office coming in a few days per week.
