What is Unique About the
Most Loved Workplace Certification?

Research

Most Loved Workplace is the culmination of years of research by world-renowned organization culture guru Louis Carter, Best Practice Institute and published by McGraw Hill (In Great Company: 2019) view and published as a valid construct in Wiley’s Leader to Leader Journal (The Emotionally Connected Leader: 2020) view

It’s About Performance & Productivity, not perks and benefits.

The research is clear – employees love their workplace not because of compensation, benefits, and certainly not perks like company picnics, beer Fridays, and foosball tables. Most Loved Workplace is the only list that accurately discovers whether the company is a functional working environment. MLW is especially relevant for companies that require accurate information on inclusion and the new way of working post-COVID. MLW is different from other lists because it focuses on true satisfaction and a feeling of respect. We compare these MLW scores with a composite of other employee satisfaction rating sites on the web for accurate reporting. While other lists focus on employee frustrations about monetary issues and desire for friendships and inner circles, MLW focuses on the reality behind how employees perceive their job and working environment.

What is the criteria for becoming a Most Loved Workplace?

Most Loved Workplaces have high employee sentiment that is derived from our model of collaboration, respect, caring, psychological safety, alignment of values, ability to produce results, and a forward thinking vision of the future. Employees take a quick pulse validation taking 2.5 minutes to complete and addressing each of these areas.

Getting Started

Research doesn’t lie. A recent study reported that 84% of job seekers say the reputation of a company as an employer is important. COVID has impacted the workplace in many ways, with the most noticeable being that many organizations have realized that a virtual workforce can work. That means that not only are you no longer restricted by a talent pool in a certain location, but the world’s best talent are no longer restricted by looking for organizations in places they live. Most Loved Workplace certification is an important tool to prove to candidates around the world that you are the place they should consider growing their career.

Most Loved Workplace certification is backed by leading research which proved that when a company is collaborative, respectful, inclusive, and provides clear and positive paths forward for employees, those employees will produce more and perform better for the organization. The research published both in Louis Carter’s book In Great Company: How to Spark Peak Performance by Creating an Emotionally Connected Workplace (McGraw-Hill, 2019) and the peer validated “The Emotionally Connected Leader” article published in the Hesselbein Foundation’s Leader to Leader Journal, provides groundbreaking insights into what truly leads to employees “loving” their company and giving full discretionary effort.
