We take a different approach to performance and development focusing on conversations. Our goal is to enhance employee’s performance and career through on-going, strength-based, future-focused coaching and development. This includes frequent informal conversations with a manager, quarterly formal check-ins to discuss professional and personal goals, and Personal Development Plans (PDPs). Employees create a PDP as a contract with their manager to support growth personally and professionally. These are not tied to job performance at all and are a way to help employees in their career trajectory.
DHI provides training & development throughout the year and has a tuition reimbursement program. The company also has Small Group Forums, which are self-direct virtual peer support groups consisting of team members in similar roles and career stages sharing professional and personal experiences.
