Programs and practices we give to our employees that create a Loved Workplace are the output of our truly caring culture. We established the GC Cares Assistance Fund, which provides a resource for members of our Golden Corral family to care for company and franchise employees during times of their greatest need. We also created a new wellness break to encourage support employees and restaurant managers to unplug and recharge. If the company is trending ahead of the annual profit plan halfway through the year, eligible employees are awarded paid days off beyond their vacation and are reimbursed up to a set amount for travel and experience expenses.

Examples of unique benefits, bonus, or compensation we provide are special holiday pay and tiered cash performance awards. We have added a special holiday pay incentive for all support employees as well as restaurant general managers and associate managers. If the company is ahead of the annual profit plan by 5% at the end of 12 of 13 fiscal periods, holiday pay, which is equivalent to one week’s pay, is earned and paid out. Eligible company support team members have a tiered cash performance award based on the company’s annual net profit performance. This new program increases the upside potential based on company results.
