Prioritizing Constructive Collaboration. At Gympass we foster a collaborative environment, where everyone cooperates to find the right solution to issues we solve on a day to day basis. Teams bring diverse perspectives together and work effectively with others by giving and getting input to make the right decisions.
Disagreements are encouraged to be raised to ensure we learn as an organization. We encourage employees to give feedback on all levels to create a stronger, more collaborative unit. We promote this behavior in day-to-day interactions, but also offer tools and forums to make feedback easy to share and access.
Fostering One Global Community. Building a sense of a belonging is a top priority at Gympass, especially with 1,500+ employees from 11 different countries the world. Anyone, in any office, has the opportunity to work cross-functionally or apply to transfer positions internally. Gympass also encourages many cross-functional inter-office events, like Virtual Yoga/Meditation Sessions, Trivia Nights, company wide physical fitness challenges and more.
Offering Hybrid Office Structure. Employees are encouraged to work in a way that best suits their needs. Every employee is empowered to work from their own home while they are also welcome to work alongside their colleagues at any of our various office locations across the US, Europe, and Brazil.
Arranging Global In-Person Meet-Ups. In 2022 we welcomed over 1,300 global employees from 11 countries to our first global company-wide event. Employees spent three days together in Brazil to foster constructive collaboration and communication.

Truly listening to Gympassers. We ensure we have tools and routines that encourage our employees to speak up if they have a concern, a suggestion for improvement and compliments. We leverage tools such as peakon surveys, questions in town halls, team/country focused all hands.
Our culture of openness, transparency, and frequent communication has positively impacted the team’s motivation and commitment while breaking down barriers to innovation. We run multifaceted businesses, with a complex ecosystem – so ensuring all voices are heard is not an option to us, but a necessity. One of our values, the Ecosystem Mindset, means we make decisions that help us achieve our mission. We want to make sure we take into consideration all stakeholders before any projects/conversations.
Employees are encouraged to participate in our 14 employee-led affinity groups. These groups allow employees of shared interests and identities to come together in a safe environment to discuss their experiences and how Gympass can best support them. Transparent communication with direct managers is encouraged regarding career goals and compensation. An IDP with the direct manager is built and uploaded on Workday with regular follow ups.
Every open vacancy at Gympass is always opened internally as well as externally. We have internal application guidelines and a clear process. Internal applications are always encouraged and are given priority over external applications.

They were built by our employees. We rewrote our values in 2019, in a collective process in which Gympassers were asked to say what they thought the values of the company should be. They were written for Gympassers, by Gympassers.

Generous paid time off per year (min 5 weeks per year): including unlimited sick days off, an extra day off for your birthday, and additional days off with each year of tenure (up to 5 days extra).
Flexible schedule: We give our employees some flexibility to adjust their working hours, letting them adjust their starting time within a range of 3 hours.

Our response to COVID-19

As the pandemic hit, we pivoted to a remote office setup and offered a monthly flexible working allowance in addition to offering all employees a home office stipend. As we prepared to enter a “new normal” we launched a hybrid work structure that allows employees to choose where they work.
