Prioritizing Constructive Collaboration. At Gympass we foster a collaborative environment, where everyone cooperates to find the right solution to issues we solve on a day to day basis. Teams bring diverse perspectives together and work effectively with others by giving and getting input to make the right decisions.
Disagreements are encouraged to be raised to ensure we learn as an organization. We encourage employees to give feedback on all levels to create a stronger, more collaborative unit. We promote this behavior in day-to-day interactions, but also offer tools and forums to make feedback easy to share and access.

Our culture of openness, transparency, and frequent communication has positively impacted the team’s motivation and commitment while breaking down barriers to innovation. We run multifaceted businesses, with a complex ecosystem – so ensuring all voices are heard is not an option to us, but a necessity. One of our values, the Ecosystem Mindset, means we make decisions that help us achieve our mission. We want to make sure we take into consideration all stakeholders before any projects/conversations.
Employees are encouraged to participate in our 14 employee-led affinity groups. These groups allow employees of shared interests and identities to come together in a safe environment to discuss their experiences and how Gympass can best support them. The affinity groups are regularly consulted by leadership to ensure all groups are recognized and heard in company decision making.
Encouraging each and everyone of them to own their careers and empower them with:
Regular team trainings, access to online learning library (Udemy and tech specific resources on Coursera and O’Reilly)

They were built by our employees. We rewrote our values in 2019, in a collective process in which Gympassers were asked to say what they thought the values of the company should be. They were written for Gympassers, by Gympassers.
On a day-to-day basis, our company values are a part of the employee journey as early as the first interview. We celebrate those who show up in ways that reflect Gympass’s values from informal forums, like, company-wide award recognition to formal evaluations.
We have an exciting and supportive atmosphere with passionate people from all around the world. Employees get the opportunity to collaborate with teams from different countries and learn from other cultures daily
We foster a dynamic environment, an informal attitude that encourages everyone to be themselves: casual attire (we don’t believe in an office dress code), employees can reach out to any leaders easily (we go beyond job titles…we are all part of the same team, united by one mission), open dialog, space for personal interests.
We host frequent team activities and challenges that employees can participate in fostering team spirit and reinforcing our common passion for our mission/company values: team workouts and wellbeing activities, happy hours, celebrations after work, team dinners, etc.
We prioritize diversity, equity and belonging: we aim to create a collaborative, supportive, and inviting space where everyone knows they belong. Our dedicated Diversity Equity & Belonging team organizes frequent DE&B events, communications to support and educate employees, and encourages employees to join affinity groups.
We encourage proactivity and innovation and give employees opportunities to really make an impact.
We cultivate a passionate, mission-driven environment. We’re proud of what we are building together, eager to transform the world and driven to make wellbeing universal.
Our CEO is consistently reinforcing our company culture and values frequently during global meetings, insisting on the importance of them, but also leading by example. In his day to day, how he makes decisions, how he interacts with others inside or outside the company, he lives and breathes our values.
