Our CEO is also Neo4j’s founder, and has been so since starting the company in 2007. He serves as a model of our company’s values because he is the embodiment of them. Neo4j is his life’s work and driven by his passion for graph and the community that is part of it.

We thrive in a culture that is open and inclusive. Everything we plan, develop, produce, and deploy in the company is shared with everyone. Everything. With everyone. At the beginning of each month, we host All Nodes meetings where updates and issues are shared; and in the middle of each month, employees can Ask Management Anything — anything — either publicly or via anonymously submitted questions. Ideas are digitally logged, reviewed, and considered/responded to. We also field public and anonymous employee surveys as part of our own strategy development. These approaches are part of our DNA as a open source community culture whose vision is to make graph available and accessible to everyone.
