Every year, we survey our employees using the Love of Workplace Survey to understand what’s going well and where we can improve. In addition to this, every week we travel to a different department with our executive leadership team through an initiative called Voice of SC. The goal of Voice of SC is simple: Visit the staff, listen to what’s going well and what can be improved, and act to make our employees’ day-to-day better.
Our Patient Experience team is dedicated to reading EVERY patient comment we receive. In 2023, that included almost 90,000 patient comments, many of which offered ideas on how we can continue to improve the patient journey and health care outcomes.
