Collaboration is at the heart of our ethos and the starting point for that is our workflow team who meet every morning to look at workloads and where resource is required. We work as one team, deploying people to work where their skills are best suited. Often a piece of work we require more than one person to input into the work and we use a number of tools including Teams and Monday.com to organise project teams. We are small but we’re global and regular communication is key to supporting our collaborative culture.
We are the only B-Corp certified firm in our sector. We have set up the organisation to support long term career development and the opportunity to become a shareholder is available to every level. We have seen strong growth every year since we founded and we invest in the team. Everyone understands the role they have in the firm and how that contributes to our success.
We have a number of committees at Wallbrook that allow each team member to have a voice on the topics that are important to them. A good example of this is our ethics committee which meets to discuss potentially contentious new clients. The committee will be made of a group from across the business as relevant to industry or jurisdiction in question and this will include junior as well as senior voices. Everyone will contribute to the discussion and the final decision of the committee will hold on whether we work with the client or not.
Wallbrook as a clear development pathway from Analyst to Partner. We build the skills you need to run the business from the first day with the company. Our L1 practice builds critical technical skills to deliver client work while our human skills training programme focuses on management and communications skills including commercial awareness, handling difficult conversations and resilience. This is underpinned by our line management and review cycle, which is focused on the individual and supporting every on the team to create the best career pathway for their interests and skills.
We are very clear on our values of integrity, honesty, transparency and quality and this is underpinned by our B-Corp certification, which attracts a lot of candidates to Wallbrook. Wallbrook was founded to do things differently and our recruitment process is designed to find candidates that have aligned values and are excited by the opportunity to be part of a collaborative and ethically-driven team.
We celebrate success on our weekly calls, highlighting great work or personal achievements across our team. Our social committee makes sure that we regularly have the opportunity to get to know each other outside of work and enjoy shared interests that means we are more than colleagues. Wallbrook offers a relaxed workplace where people can come as they are and we embrace the individual.
Our founding partners created Wallbrook because they wanted to offer something different to the wider industry. They are passionate about our ethics and the way that we do business. They are available to everyone in the firm and work collaboratively alongside the rest of the team. Their values are the company values and honesty, integrity and transparency are part of their daily practice.
Wallbrook offers access to ownership to every level in the organisation. We are wholly employee-owned and not just at a senior level. It's an important USP for us that every team member has the opportunity to be a business owner. We also offer comprehensive healthcare that is fully-funded by the firm and a generous bonus scheme.
From the beginning of the pandemic everyone started working from home. We are very agile as a small start up organisation and were able to quickly set people up with remote working. Since then we have formalised our hybrid working policy and everyone has the flexibility to split their time between home and office working.
Wallbrook was founded to bring together exceptional people with global expertise, helping the world’s foremost organisations make ethical, compliant and informed decisions about their operations, acquisitions, disputes and partnerships anywhere in the world. We seek to be the most ethical firm in our sector, providing independent and objective information free from conflicts.
We are fully employee-owned, with no majority shareholder and all staff having access to ownership. We are the first and only diligence and investigations firm to be certified as a B Corp, existing to benefit all our stakeholders and independently certified as such.
