Collaboration is at the heart of our ethos and the starting point for that is our workflow team who meet every morning to look at workloads and where resource is required. We work as one team, deploying people to work where their skills are best suited. Often a piece of work we require more than one person to input into the work and we use a number of tools including Teams and Monday.com to organise project teams. We are small but we’re global and regular communication is key to supporting our collaborative culture.
We are the only B-Corp certified firm in our sector. We have set up the organisation to support long term career development and the opportunity to become a shareholder is available to every level. We have seen strong growth every year since we founded and we invest in the team. Everyone understands the role they have in the firm and how that contributes to our success.
We have a number of committees at Wallbrook that allow each team member to have a voice on the topics that are important to them. A good example of this is our ethics committee which meets to discuss potentially contentious new clients. The committee will be made of a group from across the business as relevant to industry or jurisdiction in question and this will include junior as well as senior voices. Everyone will contribute to the discussion and the final decision of the committee will hold on whether we work with the client or not.
Wallbrook as a clear development pathway from Analyst to Partner. We build the skills you need to run the business from the first day with the company. Our L1 practice builds critical technical skills to deliver client work while our human skills training programme focuses on management and communications skills including commercial awareness, handling difficult conversations and resilience. This is underpinned by our line management and review cycle, which is focused on the individual and supporting every on the team to create the best career pathway for their interests and skills.
