Amerant fosters a sense of collaboration by establishing cross-functional teams to carry out specific and strategic initiatives throughout the organization. Our Collaboration and Communication are part of our Competency-Based Performance model used for our pre-employment assessment when hiring new team members. It is also used to measure team member performance during their annual performance reviews. We have many collaboration tools that team members need to collaborate successfully, including a license to the entire Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Teams, and other online collaboration tools like Mural, SharePoint, and WebEx. Collaboration is also fostered during many community volunteering opportunities in partnership with local organizations. Additionally, launched in late 2023, our recent Business Resource Group, “We Are Multicultural,” provides an opportunity for our team members to share their voices in a collaborative, safe space while helping drive Amerant Bank’s vision to be the Bank of Choice.
