Why COMFG Ltd. IS A MOST LOVED WORKPLACE®

Systemic Collaboration

EMPLOYEES COLLABORATE THROUGHOUT OUR COMPANY BY …

Communicating with colleagues to provide the support needed, even when at times such responsibilities don’t fall within their role parameters. This allows employees to become more versatile and provide opportunities to develop into other roles they may be better suited to. All company communications aim to engage the workforce with company objectives, as well as improve employee experience through collaborations, such as the culture committee. This provides a platform for employees to have a voice in sharing ideas for future plans.

Positive Vision of the Future

EMPLOYEES AT OUR COMPANY HAVE A POSITIVE VISION FOR THE FUTURE BECAUSE …

They understand the future direction and aims of the business due to the CEO providing annual speeches to share updates and progress made in the past year. Employees are always working to improve themselves and share ideas of how we can make the company better for now and the future.

Company Respect

WE SHOW RESPECT AND ENSURE THAT ALL VOICES ARE HEARD AND IDEAS ARE VALUED THROUGHOUT THE COMPANY BY …

Holding two way appraisal feedback to allow every employee to have their say and provide any support required through the several programmes we run in-house. In the culture committee and the health and safety committee, employees are able to put forward any ideas or concerns that they have noticed and all changes implemented are communicated in the company newsletter.

Company Support / Killer Outcomes

WE SUPPORT OUR EMPLOYEES IN ACHIEVING THEIR PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL GOALS BY …

Creating development plans that have set SMART objectives which is a long-term plan to develop employees, whilst providing them a platform to propose anything they would like to achieve over the coming year. During the appraisal meeting, employees are able to discuss any personal development goals, including training. We agree actions to be taken to meet those needs with their appraising manager and to support this, we work together to make statements of the important results they are going to be working on, using SMART goals.

Alignment of Values

OUR COMPANY’S VALUES ARE ALIGNED WITH OUR EMPLOYEES BECAUSE …

Our company values are aligned with what employees identify with and care about. They are proud to know that they make a difference in our customers’ lives, as we share feedback with our staff so they understand the importance and contribution of their role.

The welfare programme gives employees access to an in-house occupational health, physiotherapy and external support for counselling and private healthcare. We have family friendly policies and procedures to be more flexible with the ever changing dynamics of family life and promote work-life balance throughout.

CEO Strengths

OUR CEO SERVES AS A MODEL OF OUR COMPANY VALUES BY …

Engaging with the workforce on a day to day basis, he has an open door policy which allows employees to communicate with him one to one. He also leads by example and shows appreciation for the work people do, thus fostering respect which also aligns extremely well with our values.

Additionally, we run bereavement scheme to support those who have lost a loved one.

Our response to COVID-19

We provided different options for the types of face protection to accommodate staff with respiratory issues. We also implemented a digital face station clock-in system to reduce the number of surfaces staff had to come into contact with.
