Our associates engage with global colleagues, ask questions, and share stories, ideas, and recognition through our internal social media platform. In addition, our eight global Employee Impact Groups serve as an active and pervasive vehicle for the sharing of diverse ideas and perspectives around a range of business and social issues. We also encourage dialogue through Q&A sessions with leaders, roundtables, and town halls. Sharing associate voices and stories with the external marketplace via digital and social media is also a key part of our work. We create an environment where our employees can grow and thrive through new and challenging experiences as well as formal learning and skill development through our dynamic learning platform. In combination with regular career and development discussions between associates and managers, we share stories about associates who grow their career, leadership journeys that are authentic and motivating, and advice on how to take professional skills to the next level. Within our Technology organization, we have an early career program where new hires are accelerated through application development roles to fast-track their career. Associates also have access to our Employee Impact Groups, where they can network, learn, participate in mentorship programs, and volunteer time to help their communities.
Our associates are at the heart of our business as the vast majority of them directly interact with our clients and/or their customers. We believe if we treat our associates well and demonstrate strong values they will then treat our clients the same way. We demonstrate this starting with the hiring and onboarding process and reinforce through training, performance management, career development and recognition programs. We then measure through pulse surveys, focus groups, and other avenues of associate listing. Our values are simple, straightforward, human and approachable to ensure that they are inclusive and easy for every associate, regardless of their role or location, to apply them to their work and how they interact with others.
Across each region, we offer unique programs and opportunities for our associates to engage with each other and our local communities to learn, volunteer, and make a difference. In India, we have an EXCELerate Program to celebrate talent, build industry connections, showcase regional capabilities, and promote associate wellbeing and giving back to the community. In North America and certain countries in Latin America and Asia Pacific, associates have free access to our Employee Assistance Program which offers a host of well-being benefits and programs, as well as programs for financial wellness and retirement planning. Globally, we host wellness webinars focusing on mental health and emotional well-being. And our Employee Impact Groups host a variety of monthly events for learning, having fun, and creating space for appreciation and recognition of our diversity. The celebration of heritage months, annual engagement campaigns for Customer Service Week and Proud to be Conduent, our use of pronouns in our email signatures and the use of ‘preferred names’ in our human capital systems are recent examples of practices our associates have embraced.
Our CEO leads the way with our Core Values and was an integral collaborator in creating them.
