Delt Shared Services exists to help public sector organisations do amazing things. By delivering integrated support services, Delt enables their partners and customers to focus on what matters most: supporting their communities.

Delt was founded in 2014 to provide IT services to Plymouth City Council and the Northern, Eastern and Western Devon Clinical Commissioning Group (now part of NHS Devon). Built as a cross-sector shared service, Delt supports both local government and health organisations. This model has enabled the company to grow by more than 300% since formation. What began with 90 employees delivering a single IT service has grown into a workforce of 300+ people, supporting over 100 organisations and delivering more than 10 integrated services.

Delt is renowned for reinvesting profits into public sector owners, with over £5 million returned in dividends, enhancing local NHS services, schools, and elderly support.

The organisation fosters a people-centric culture, understanding that a 'happy, healthy, and engaged' workforce is key to success. An active event and social committee organises activities like sports days and charity quizzes, enriching the workplace experience. In response to the cost-of-living crisis, Delt Shared Services introduced initiatives such as guest speakers for financial advice and an app for flexible pay access.
