This principle is revisited at our company wide weekly meeting. Our leaders remind us to use common sense to integrate and communicate. We can do this in person, on a virtual meeting, in Slack, via text or phone call. Our company intranet is updated with the latest company information so employees can find the information they need every day.
We have had wonderful growth of the company in the last 20 years. 2023 is our 20th anniversary. We provide an atmosphere that demonstrates we care about the entire person, and allow employees to be their authentic selves. We showed employees that we value their commitment to our company by rolling out a monetary bonus program in 2023, that awards employees when they reach a milestone anniversary.
We provide Outward Mindset Training for all employees during their first week. This creates an environment that gives employees the knowledge and tools to be able to recognize inward and outward mindsets and the impact that has on the workplace and their lives. We know you have to “see others” to adjust efforts and measure the impact. That is why this foundational all day training is provided to all new hires, with refresher training available during the year.
We encourage employees to recognize their mistakes as learning opportunities instead of failures. We have instilled a workplace that champions employees to continue to grow in their careers, even if that growth takes them outside Delta Defense.
Skills for Success Training- provided by our licensed mental health therapists. We know people are at their best when they grow and learn, and we have created a culture to allow employees to focus and learn skills to be the best version of themselves. This is offered during work hours.
We offer monthly Skills for Success training on a variety of topics. We offer tuition reimbursement and training opportunities to help employees grow into their next role. Every employee creates their own Dream Boards, to help plan for the upcoming goals and accomplishments and things that they are striving for. We have taken great strides in removing societal stigmas around mental health through our employee offerings.

Every Thursday, Tim hosts the all-company “Oh Shit” Meeting where he gives business updates, answers employee questions, and shares life lessons.
Tim prioritizes the Delta culture and engagement of employees. He gives all team members the opportunity to schedule face-to-face CEO Chats so that anyone can seek guidance, ask questions, and share ideas with the leadership team.
We have a robust approach to benefits and compensation. A few examples are: Employee Couseling – We have two full time licensed therapists available to all our employees for personal and professional coaching. We have paid parental leave.
