Each employee will set goals linked to both the corporate and relevant functional goals. These will be agreed with their line manager at the beginning of the FY. Regular goal check-ins throughout the year are an opportunity to discuss performance improvements, development, appreciation and feedback. We work in quarterly performance sprints so goals can also be updated during the goal- check-in if changes are needed. Goals should still aligned with the overall corporate and relevant functional goals. Aside from the regular goal check-in, 1:1s and other less formal discussions with your manager provide a platform to discuss your career as and when needed.
We are working hard to provide a broad suite of learning opportunities that are meaningful for our business and will appeal to different audiences based on individual needs and different learning preferences and needs. We want people to be curious.

Together with a consultant who supported DOCOMO Digital in culture work we started two years ago with getting a good read on where our culture was as a company right that moment – where we have strengths and opportunities. In different sessions the consultant was asking questions and gathering feedback from the people from nearly all the levels, locations and functions. It was clear that this was the first step and that the options will be important in shaping the future . During the the whole programme with a duration of one year our Values Bold – Humble – Optimistic – Accountable – Customer focused were developed in a constant exchange with the employees. Our response to COVID-19

DOCOMO Digital is making concerted efforts to ensure the safety and wellbeing of its worldwide teams while supporting their transition to remote work. It encouraged employees to undertake a more innovative approach to work wherein they feel wholly empowered to choose how, when, and where they want to work. The company offers a smart working allowance across the board to everyone in the business every year, and colleagues can choose to spend this allowance on any that makes working from home more conducive. They could decide to come to the office spaces if they wish to meet colleagues and customers in person entirely of their volition. The senior leadership team made an official commitment last year by undertaking and publishing a “Smart working Pledge” that could be found on the people section of its website. The purpose of this pledge was to commit to our employees, beyond the pandemic, that they are trusted and empowered to work where they feel most productive. We will remain mindful of their needs regardless of the working environment they choose.
