Thirty four years later, we are solidly a middle-class agency with 250 plus employees across the world and HUNTER is now also part of a best-in-class global network of communications agencies. Led by the agency’s first DEI manager, efforts like launching affinity groups and making more space for conversation, including a Black Employee Resource Group and mentoring circles, have created a culture of respect and inclusion and help establish trust among colleagues.

Training in professional areas is a tremendous benefit that we provide – and it includes upskilling in topics that benefit the work and the client service, but also training and resources in areas like managing burnout and leading diverse teams to support our staff in all aspects of work. Annually, the agency brings together its staff for our marquee HCC (Hunter Community College) event where we provide external expert training and development in areas that the staff have requested (e.g., creativity and presentation skills).

Over the past year, we continued to adapt to our staff’s needs and today’s ways of working. We launched a Work from Anywhere policy, providing the ability to work outside of our office headquarters for four weeks per year, in addition to a hybrid return to office model. We also have a competitive parental leave policy offering 16 weeks of paid time off for new moms and dads, and we offer robust benefits in health, dental, 401k, insurances, Employee Assistance Programs and other key areas.
