We have actively worked to implement monthly and ad-hoc professional development sessions (live) hosted by a master facilitator and learning leader. We share monthly Inclusion Spotlight pages to highlight information and development specifically related to Diversity that aligns with our values and culture. We hold Make it Real sessions and invite experts in their area of inclusion to share their lived experiences. We have integrated career conversations into our twice yearly performance management cycles, as well as trained ALL employees on how take control of their career, and to give and received feedback.

These values are not posters on a virtual wall; they underpin the way we behave and interact with each other. We interview based on our values, we rate performance against our values. Our inclusion scores are in the 80s (year over year based on annual Engagement and Pulse Surveys). Winter Shutdown: In 2021 we were all struggling with burnout and mental wellness to some degree or another so in the winter from Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day we gave a company-wide holiday. So that everyone logged off collectively and you weren’t coming back to thousands of emails because everyone was off. It proved so impactful and we had such great feedback from our people that we did it again this year. FOLKS LOVE IT! If you’ve ever done a company wide shutdown it really is transformative in allowing us all to rest and recharge to get us back to peak performance
VTO Day: We give a LOT of product away to women’s charity ($300K worth of donations in 2022) and our people told us last year they wanted to have even more impact with their labor and so we implemented a company paid volunteer day off.
Monthly All-Company Development Programs: We provide two sessions each month to bring timely professional development and development tied to our inclusion spotlight months (e.g. Black History Month and Women’s History Month) – this is open to all employees regardless of title or level.
Our CEO, since joining, has been a consistent presence in our All Hands and Strategy Seshs, providing his insights and visions for our future. He is committed to transparent, open communication and has hosted a series of sessions for employees to get to know him in small groups, and maintains an open door policy for all employees to take advantage of.
Due to the increasing volatility we have been paying our bonuses monthly tied to our quarterly OKRs and I am delighted to say that we paid a bonus every quarter last year!
One unique thing about us is that all of our employees are participants in our stock option program. We re-priced our stock options last year and have worked again because of recent volatility so no-one is out of pocket and to create an ownership mentality among all of our employees..
We are proud of our diversity and inclusion and believe that extends to our pay structures as well. We are committed to transparency and aspire to be a leader in our communities around equitable pay. We include pay ranges in our job descriptions not just for compliance because it is better enables women to negotiate for fairer pay. Our benefits programs are family-friendly and we increased our parental leave program by one week in 2023, with a goal of continuing to lead in that space in the future.
