As a company with over 38,000 employees in over 40 countries, collaboration is key to our success. To help our employees collaborate effectively, we instated a strong technology infrastructure, workspace design, team agreements, and leadership trainings to fuel our collaborative hybrid working environment. We also launched an [email protected] program to drive effective collaboration, innovation, and cross-functional partnership across all areas using the agile methodology.
We’re on a transformation journey at The Kraft Heinz Company inspired by our Purpose, Let’s Make Life Delicious. We empower our people at every level, encouraging them to bring their authentic selves to work, channeling our passion and curiosity into the new and exciting challenges we face together. We cherish the opportunity to work with innovative technology every day and make hands-on decisions that drive our processes forward to make sure the products we deliver are legendary. Whether it’s new ways of thinking about our operations or ways to make our products more sustainable, we’re always growing a better future.
“We Demand Diversity” is one of our core company Values. All voices matter, and we will not just listen but truly work to hear different points of view. We believe that diverse backgrounds and perspectives make us stronger, more interesting, and more innovative and have created an environment of trust where all employees can bring their best ideas to the table. We live out this value by leaning into our Business Resource Groups to drive education around allyship and cross-cultural understanding, training our people on interrupting unconscious bias and offering mentorship and development programs dedicated towards women and people of color.
We encourage our people to “Learn Like An Owner” and promote an empowered learning culture throughout our organization. A key driver of this is our Ownerversity program, a robust, online learning platform filled with custom Kraft Heinz trainings, learning and development materials as well as external resources. Our L&D offerings enable employees to live our Value, “We dare to do better every day”, and bring flexibility and ownership to their learning and development journey. This empowers employees to excel in their current role, accelerate their learning curve and grow a great career at Kraft Heinz.
As we developed our new Company Values in 2020, we worked together with over 250 leaders across Kraft Heinz to listen to our people’s needs and ensure that these Values resonated with all employees. Each of our six Values start with WE – a commitment our people make to each other and to consumers around the world. Our Purpose, Vision, and Values are woven into everything we do, from internal learning opportunities to product launches, and our people are encouraged to keep these at the forefront of their minds at all times.
We have Business Resource Groups and D&I Committees across the Company that create communities of support, growth, celebration and understanding. We offer flexible, hybrid work models to ensure our people achieve the work-life balance that’s right for them and their families. Our teams regularly engage with our brands and products through taste testing and employee events rooted in our brand identities with a focus on fun. We also recognize our people through Celebrationz, our platform for peer-to-peer recognition and rewards for employees who go above and beyond to live out our values.
Our CEO, Miguel Patricio, leads by example, living out our values while promoting an environment of diversity, respect and authenticity at Kraft Heinz. He regularly communicates with our people to keep them involved in our growth journey and champions our Leadership Principles – Work as a Team, Inspire Excellence and Navigate Our Future – to help everyone deliver results and activate our Values.
We believe in championing great people and make caring for our employees a top priority. To support our people’s overall emotional, physical and financial well-being we provide a wide range of benefits including annual bonus incentives, competitive 401k contributions, Paid-Parental Leave for salaried and non-union hourly employees, flexible working hour/locations, generous PTO & holidays, access to physical/mental health apps, and the opportunity to earn generous well-being dollars. Additionally, Kraft Heinz provides a well-being program called LiveWell intended to help employees and their family members achieve optimal health physically, emotionally and financially.
The safety of our people has been our top priority throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. At the onset of pandemic, we transitioned all office-based employees to remote work and immediately put safety measures in place to protect our manufacturing teams while they produced essentials to feed our communities. Earlier this year, we transitioned our office-based employees to a hybrid work model, giving them increased flexibility related to work hours and location. We also provide resources related to emotional, physical and financial well-being for our people and their families, to help them lead a healthy life inside and outside of the workplace.
We are driving transformation at The Kraft Heinz Company inspired by our Purpose, Let’s Make Life Delicious. Consumers are at the center of everything we do. With 2021 net sales of approximately $26 billion, we are committed to growing our iconic and emerging food and beverage brands on a global scale. We leverage our scale and agility to unleash the full power of Kraft Heinz across a portfolio of six consumer-driven product platforms. As global citizens, we’re dedicated to making a sustainable, ethical impact while helping feed the world in healthy, responsible ways.
