ManyPets

Why ManyPets IS A MOST LOVED WORKPLACE®

Systemic Collaboration

EMPLOYEES COLLABORATE THROUGHOUT OUR COMPANY BY …

using a range of digital collaboration tools from Slack, Clickup, Miro, Github – the list goes on.
We empower our people to work in a way that suits them through our ‘making work, work’ approach. Whether that means coming into our offices or working entirely remotely, we’ve embedded effective tools to truly support collaboration in a world where hybrid/remote comes first.
In addition, we have a Sustainability Council and an Inclusion Council made up of representatives from all levels and roles in the business. With an aim to drive both inclusion and ESG initiatives across ManyPets.
We trust our teams to do the right thing and by providing the tools for them to do so, have seen innovation and collaboration climb to new heights.

Positive Vision of the Future

EMPLOYEES AT OUR COMPANY HAVE A POSITIVE VISION FOR THE FUTURE BECAUSE …

we share information openly and honestly with them. We’ve cultivated a culture where we bare-all when it comes to company performance and support our people in understanding how they contribute to the broader picture – making it easy for them to understand how they can help us succeed. As a company, we also meet up three times a week in live all-company all-hands sessions, where we share our OKRs and update everyone on the reality of our commercials so there is a shared understanding of how we are doing as a business and what their part in it is.
A core part of our EVP is centred around our internal community, and through our Learning and Reward frameworks, embedding initiatives that enable our people to be a part of our company’s successes.

Company Respect

WE SHOW RESPECT AND ENSURE THAT ALL VOICES ARE HEARD AND IDEAS ARE VALUED THROUGHOUT THE COMPANY BY …

we are dedicated to operating openly and transparently and give them the opportunity to tell us where we should be focusing our efforts.
Our teams are encouraged to quiz and even sometimes, challenge our senior leaders on company performance or what’s happening in the organisation. Our culture is one of openness and inclusion, and it starts by giving our people a voice through our multiple annual surveys or various other feedback routes.
We hold regular panel discussions by our people, for our people, ensuring that our teams bring their whole selves to work and can share their lived experiences.

Company Support / Killer Outcomes

WE SUPPORT OUR EMPLOYEES IN ACHIEVING THEIR PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL GOALS BY …

giving them the tools to do what they need to and letting them take the reins.
This last year, in addition to supporting growth with external providers such as PluralSight, we’ve implemented a new internal learning platform (ManyLearnings) and our Thrive learning framework. One focusing on self-service professional development and the other to drive flexible feedback in a more human approach than that of annual reviews.
Outside of professional development, our teams have access to wellbeing webinars each month focused on wellbeing, inclusion, or topical matters.

Alignment of Values

OUR COMPANY’S VALUES ARE ALIGNED WITH OUR EMPLOYEES BECAUSE …

our values and ethos were created by our people, for our people. This mentality also applies to all people processes and policies that we implement. We took time to build out behaviours that speak to our values and we build them into recruitment, selection, onboarding, and our newly introduced performance framework. We are passionate about building a workplace that is flexible, inclusive, and accommodating for all our current people and those yet to join us.
Throughout our growth, we’ve continued to consult them at key points, ensuring that the organisation we become, is one that they are proud to be a part of now, and in the future.

Company Practices / Love

PROGRAMS AND PRACTICES WE GIVE TO OUR EMPLOYEES THAT CREATE A LOVED WORKPLACE ARE …

Our making work, work programme, one that worked alongside our people to ensure that we respect and embrace flexibility. It enables our teams to work remotely first and tag on two weeks post their holiday to work from a place of their choosing. We do still appreciate the value of getting together to meet colleagues, so we get together twice yearly to meet up, learn about the business and celebrate together.
Our ManyOwners scheme also ensures that every single employee can share in the business’s success.

CEO Strengths

OUR CEO SERVES AS A MODEL OF OUR COMPANY VALUES BY …

championing our people through showing he cares and doing the right thing. Having been at the helm of ManyPets since its founding in 2012, he understands all aspects of the organisation and makes a substantial effort to meet every new starter on a monthly basis and personally introduce them to the business during all-company meetings.
He encouraged us to develop our ManyOwners Programme which ensures that every member of our team has a share in a long-term incentive so that collectively we share in the success of the business in the future.
He is an advocate for our DE&I agenda and has regularly shared personal insights to reinforce our message of inclusion and anti-racism.

Benefits

EXAMPLES OF UNIQUE BENEFITS, BONUS, OR COMPENSATION WE PROVIDE ARE …

Our ManyOwners programme. To encourage a culture where our people are invested in our long-term growth as opposed to short-term cash incentives, led by our CEO, we launched ManyOwners. An all-employee ownership programme whereby every single employee receives PUPs (performance unit plan) or stock options so when we have something to celebrate as a business, they have a personal reason to celebrate too.

About the Company

At ManyPets, are committed to changing the definition of pet insurance.
We’ve listened to thousands of cat and dog owners to create our products and truly appreciate how much our pets do for us, so want to make sure we’re doing all we can for them too.
That’s why, since 2012, we’ve challenged the traditional approach to pet insurance market, grown and expanded into two new countries, and seen our team grow from 30 to 550 all to make the world a better place for pets and their parents.
