Huddle is our daily seven minute mandatory company-wide meeting. It’s a chance for us to stay connected and see exactly where the business is each day. We share good news, review metrics, department updates, and shout outs. This high energy meeting is often the best part of everyone’s day!
Perhaps the most important aspect of our success is what we call our Painted Picture that articulates how we will look, feel, and act four years into the future. It outlines the “what” but not the “how” – that’s where our team comes in to help us create the future.
We’ve created a safe environment where our team can be themselves and take risks to make our business better. We embrace a WTF?! spirit – willing to fail – where it’s okay to make mistakes. We believe that failure gives us an opportunity to learn and that’s what helps us innovate and grow.
Our 101 Life Goals program was created by our founder to inspire employees to grow in their personal lives. If we want people to feel connected to us, we need to learn more about who they really are. We encourage everyone to share their goals and actively support people in achieving them.
Our core values at O2E Brands are Passion, Integrity, Professionalism and Empathy (PIPE). These values are front and center in everything we do, and we proudly display them in our offices. Everyone is expected to live these values in how we work together and our teams hold us accountable too.

Brian Scudamore’s mantra is “It’s All About People”. He built his business by finding the right people and treating them right. Following our core purpose of changing people’s lives, he’s given thousands of people the opportunity to grow and many have gone on to own their own businesses.
Our profit sharing program, the Great Game of Business, gives employees a chance for a bonus when our annual goals are met or exceeded. When people feel like they have a personal stake in the game, they’re collectively driven to achieve these big goals. When the business wins, we all win!
We realized that we needed to create our hybrid model through the lens of the 4Cs – Connect, Collaborate, Communicate and Celebrate. We worked with leaders and people managers to identify which connections (e.g. certain meetings and events) needed to happen in person and which could remain virtual. We then mapped every role in the organization and assigned it a hybrid classification – Remote, Flex 75, Flex 50 or Flex 25. We leveraged design thinking methodology, interviewed over 100 team members, people managers, and leaders across the organization, and conducted significant market research when coming up with our plan.
O2E Brands is the umbrella company of three unique home service companies: 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, WOW 1 DAY PAINTING and Shack Shine. Our goal is to take the ordinary businesses of junk removal, painting, and house detailing and make them exceptional. How do we do this? By making sure we take care of our people! When you treat people right, they feel connected to the brand and will take care of our customers. At O2E Brands, it’s all about people!
