Playfly Sports

Why Playfly Sports IS A MOST LOVED WORKPLACE®

Systemic Collaboration

EMPLOYEES COLLABORATE THROUGHOUT OUR COMPANY BY …

Keeping lines of communication open with a constant flow of information. People and partnership are both core values of our organization which begins internally so we can better serve externally. By embracing the sports-minded power of teamwork, Playfly continues to emphasize cross-collaboration across business divisions and office locations, including cross-selling incentive programs, to ultimately foster creativity for our clients and partners, and ultimately, sports fans everywhere. Additionally, internal communications are driven via slack and include channels that discuss topics beyond the pipeline like dogs, food, and family. The spirit of continued learning has also yielded new initiatives to foster collaboration such as “Knowledge Drops” focused on deeper understanding of business units and capabilities.

Positive Vision of the Future

EMPLOYEES AT OUR COMPANY HAVE A POSITIVE VISION FOR THE FUTURE BECAUSE …

We have fostered an innovator and industry-disrupter mindset where the way things ‘have always been done’ is constantly challenged for the better. Only three years old, Playfly has accumulated massive momentum toward becoming the leading sports marketing and media agency highlighted by its people and commitment to understanding fandom better than anyone else. Our competitive spirit helps all boats rise and has fueled such fast and successful growth behind a transparent leader who is continually sharing his vision for the future with staff at every level. Every employee is guided through career progression succession planning with an emphasis on trying new things. Select employees have even explore new career pathways through structured apprenticeship programs to try out new departments of interest.

Company Respect

WE SHOW RESPECT AND ENSURE THAT ALL VOICES ARE HEARD AND IDEAS ARE VALUED THROUGHOUT THE COMPANY BY …

Building diverse teams with an eye towards diversity in all ways – diversity of people, diversity of thought, and diversity of experience. Additionally, our employee-created and led inclusion resource groups (IRGs) and newly formed Culture Council are dedicated resources where employees are solely focused on listening and improving the employee experience for Playfly staff. Providing these groups with resources has yielded numerous changes to employee benefits, guided our return-to-office plans, and helped bring together employees from every corner of the country for the betterment of the entire organization. Although continuous feedback and discussion is commonplace at Playfly, annual employee engagement and benefits surveys help pulse the team at large in a more formal and anonymous fashion.

In fact, employee feedback revealed the need for an additional core value: empathy. The value was added in 2023 to reflect the need to practice empathy in all aspects of our working environment. Altogether, the values serve as a guiding framework for work being done by every employee in every division. The people-first mindset is driven by foundational DEI efforts including inclusion and diversity training for recruitment and hiring, in addition to continuous learning that fosters a value-focused organization at every level.
