We have the privilege of getting to serve our communities and customers in a way that is impactful, whether it is getting our passengers to work every day or ensuring the handicapped or special needs passengers get to important medical appointments. Defining our values was the result of a participatory process where everyone had the opportunity to express what they experience at RATP Dev. Teams from around the world were consulted and contributed to defining our values. Major trends emerged from the values survey, demonstrating our unity and common identity. Our values (United, Caring, Effective, Daring & Safe) are an integral part of our DNA, creating our own strong identity and thus distinguishing us from our competitors. These values are embodied in our behaviors, our ways of working, and even in imperceptible details like how we greet each other or organize our meetings. We tie these values to everything we do in order for them to become engrained and we hold ourselves accountable for modeling these values (tied to performance reviews). Because...our values are important...it is how we treat our people.

Our CEO and executive team model these values, because we recognize how important the culture is that we have cultivated. We want all employees to feel the sense of camaraderie we protect as an Executive team. We hold ourselves accountable to each other for ensuring we teach and embody our values in everything we do. Our CEO is committed to our culture journey and has fully embraced it by setting clear deliverables around employee engagement, exhibiting the behaviors in communications or on the ground with employees. He strives to help all team members connect the dots of how they truly make a difference in our company. He pushes us to be better every day...and because of that...we are!

We know the importance that proper compensation and benefits play on retention and constantly evaluate the market to ensure we are in alignment with market pay. In many cases, for specific roles, we target top talent and pay above market. We benchmark to ensure our blue-collar wages are competitive and will even negotiate with our clients when needed if we see a significant market shift in wages that needs to be addressed. For our Corporate staff, we have great flexibility with remote working. For our field employees, we let our General Managers determine what is best for their business in terms of flexibility. Our bonus programs are aligned with our goals and objectives, including our values. We continually look for unique ways to reduce health & welfare costs and provide better care for our employees. We also offer a robust EAP program and virtual healthcare. at no cost to our employees.
