Segra utilizes programs like Peakon, a survey tool which enables company leadership to continuously listen to employees and learn how to improve their experience. Another platform, Excellence in Action, is used to recognize and reward employees in real time! Leaders and employees are able to use social recognition and points-based recognition to give “shout outs” for daily work and positive interactions, constantly engaging employees and leaders. Segra also hosts weekly/monthly “Victory” calls when individuals are called upon to showcase recent successes with executive leadership and other employees in other departments throughout the company.

Segra is a Corporate Alliance Program Partner with the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE). This membership is extended to employees to give opportunities to expand their knowledge and understanding of the industry and to work on their and SCTE certification if interested. Segra also extends industry membership to all employees for the Fiber Broadband Association, which provides access to regularly scheduled webinars, education and certification programs, and committee participation opportunities to assist on projects with Technology, Public Policy, Marketing, or the Conference Committee! We provide an extensive and engaging two-day new hire orientation tailored to new hire needs.

Since Hart joined in January 2022, Segra hired more than 240 team members, promoted 90, and expanded its portfolio of products and services.
