Fostering employee collaboration (both formally and informally) is a top priority at ServiceTitan as employees work together to power the trades industry and bring company programs and initiatives to life. We have a robust communications stack (Google Workplace, Slack, Jira, Zoom, etc.) that empowers our employees to work cross-functionally on projects, engage in company-wide programming, and participate in employee resource groups (ERGs). A recent example of this was “Titans Got Talent,” an employee-organized, virtual talent show and auction. The event brought together hundreds of Titans from across the globe to raise nearly $20K for the World Federation for Mental Health.
We’ve created a company culture that enables our employees to understand how their work contributes to ServiceTitan’s mission and vision. We empower employees to exceed their own expectations and contribute to meaningful projects that will advance both their careers and move ServiceTitan forward. We actively listen to feedback and run a sentiment pulse survey every quarter to ensure we’re continuously improving the employee experience and holding ourselves accountable. We foster inclusive environments where diverse perspectives are valued and encouraged within teams.
Fostering transparent top-down communication, investing in Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), and openly sharing sentiment survey feedback and comprehensive business performance results with the entire organization. We don’t gate information or withhold access to leadership. For example, our Diversity and Inclusion team hosts a Quarterly Business Review highlighting key updates on our progress toward developing a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture. It’s open to the entire organization and is followed by a Q&A. We also block time off for transparent Q&As in any all-company forum where anyone in the company can ask our leaders questions.
ServiceTitan provides a holistic suite of benefits, programs, and services to ensure that employees have access to the support and resources they need. This includes: 100% paid health insurance, unlimited flexible time off (FTO), a $750 Learning and Development stipend, internal mobility programs, and much more. We want to bring human care back to the corporate world. We’re focused on helping our employees reach the highest levels of their potential by investing in employee development. We reinforce this commitment through our hybrid work model, which gives employees the flexibility and autonomy to find balance and achieve their goals.
They are something that we live out every day. Our values (Change Lives, Achieve the Extraordinary, and Be a Dream Team) aren’t just words on a screen or posters on a wall. They are the guiding framework for our culture, tied to specific behaviors and embedded into all of our people processes. Our core values are communicated to prospective employees before they join, and are the basis for our internal rewards and recognition programs. We also share specific examples of our values in action with everyone at our all-company All-Hands. There is a clear understanding of what it means to be a Titan, and how to be an active participant in our culture.
We’re committed to helping our employees grow, evolve, connect, and build community even when working remotely. Our ERGs (Employee Resource Groups) are a great example of this. We currently have nine employee-led ERGs focused on creating an inclusive environment for a diverse group of communities. These groups bring together Titans from across the globe to drive the development of future leaders, advise on company systems and processes, and create engaging programs. They’re not just communities, they’re business drivers that help shape and inform the way that we operate. Groups are open to all employees and allies are encouraged to participate.
Our CEO and co-founder, along with co-founder and ServiceTitan President Vahe Kuzoyan are the driving forces behind ServiceTitan’s culture. As first-generation immigrants, Ara’s and Vahe’s parents came to the United States with no money, no job, and young kids to look after. Their dads found jobs as contractors to support their families, which is why ServiceTitan’s mission to power the trades is so personal to them. Putting our customers first and actively listening to employee and customer feedback to help drive the business forward. Both Ara and Vahe are highly invested in fostering a culture of respect, ownership, and accountability.
We offer a curated suite of benefits to support employees at all stages of life including: unlimited FTO, 100% paid medical, dental, and vision coverage, subscriptions to telehealth services and apps (Maven Maternity, Headspace, Ginger, Galileo, One Medical, Physera, and more), 401(k) matching, financial planning, pet insurance, generous parental leave, up to $20k in adoption assistance, fertility coverage, care coordination for loved ones with chronic health needs, and much more. We also have Bonusly, a peer-to-peer recognition program that allows employees to recognize their colleagues. Almost every Titan is an owner in our company through our stock grant programs.
