Our seven Affinity Business Groups, each sponsored by a member of our executive leadership team, provide an opportunity for team members to meet and collaborate with colleagues across the organization. We provide interactive Learning & Development opportunities; cross-functional projects; host department and company-wide Town Hall meetings; formal/informal team meetings and use Microsoft Teams.
Our team members are guided by The Wyndham Compass – our strategic plan – which helps guide and ensure alignment as each team member contributes to our Company strategy. Our team members participate in department and company-wide Town Hall meetings which reflect on accomplishments as well as future plans. Additionally, we are guided by our Count on Me service promise in which each team member aims to be responsive, respectful and deliver great experiences. Senior leaders listen to team members and feedback directly impacts company decisions (for example, we introduced half-day Fridays and a more flexible work arrangement program directly from team member feedback); executive leaders sponsor our Affinity Business Groups; opportunities for feedback via company-wide engagement surveys; we celebrate awareness months by recognizing team members and often welcoming external speakers, sharing dedicated Zoom backgrounds and more.
Attendance at leadership workshops or other formal leadership education, support of leadership roles with volunteer organizations outside of Wyndham, accessibility of seven Affinity Business Groups, year-round performance management process and mentoring relationships.
