This methodology assesses hospitals based on their emotional connection with employees, patients, and communities, integrating quantitative and qualitative data to identify hospitals that foster exceptional workplace culture, patient experience, and community engagement.

1. Data Collection Approach

Hospitals were evaluated based on five key categories, using data sourced from:

2. Scoring & Ranking Methodology

Each hospital received a Most Loved Score™, calculated based on the weighted scoring model:

Category
Employee Satisfaction & Workplace Culture (30%)
Patient Satisfaction & Experience (30%)
Community Sentiment & Reputation (20%)
Innovation & Leadership (10%)
Safety & Clinical Excellence (10%)

Each metric within these categories was standardized on a 10-point scale, with sentiment analysis applied to qualitative data sources (e.g., employee reviews, patient testimonials, social media discussions) to ensure a comprehensive evaluation.

Hospitals that achieved a threshold Most Loved Score™ were included in the Top 100 America’s Most Loved™ Hospitals list.

3. Key Differentiators from Other Rankings

Unlike traditional hospital rankings that focus primarily on clinical performance and financial metrics, the Most Loved™ Hospitals ranking emphasizes:

Emotional Connection – How employees, patients, and communities feel about the hospital
Workplace Culture – Evaluating leadership, collaboration, and mission alignment
Community Reputation – Public perception based on sentiment analysis

This approach provides a holistic measure of hospital excellence that reflects both internal culture and external perception, ensuring a balanced evaluation of hospital environments that employees and patients truly love.
