Here’s a taste of our meticulous process to identify the Most Loved™ Restaurants with exceptional leadership:

Evaluation Process:

Step 1: Capturing Staff Sentiment Toward Restaurant Leadership

“Flavor of Workplace” Index® and Leadership Insights: We analyze staff feedback from participating restaurants using our proprietary “Flavor of Workplace” Index®. Combined with our advanced analytics, this measures staff sentiment toward their restaurant’s leadership. We focus on leadership effectiveness, communication, mentorship, and the overall support provided to the team.

Step 2: Staff Experience Survey

We conduct a comprehensive survey among staff at these restaurants to gauge their experiences and overall perception of their leadership. This phase leverages data points from staff regarding their leader’s effectiveness and the impact of their leadership on the restaurant’s culture.

Step 3: Deep Dive into Public Perception and Leadership Development Focus

We conduct an in-depth review of publicly available information, including restaurant websites, leadership development resources, and industry publications. Additionally, we analyze media coverage and public perception through our sentiment and emotion analysis tools. This allows us to understand how the restaurant’s leadership is perceived regarding their leadership and the restaurant’s commitment to fostering strong leadership.

Step 4: Industry Recognition

We review published and validated awards or recognitions within the past 18 months regarding the leadership capabilities of the analyzed restaurant leaders. This step helps identify restaurants and leaders lauded for their leadership and positive impact on restaurant culture.

Step 5: Validation and Scoring

We calculate a unique “Leadership Development & Support” rating for each restaurant using our proprietary workplace sentiment and emotion analysis tools. The top-scoring restaurants, as determined by the sentiment toward their leadership, are then recognized on the Most Loved™ Restaurants with Beloved Leadership list.
