Here’s a breakdown of our meticulous process to identify the Most Loved Workplaces® for CEOs:
Evaluation Process:
Step 1: Capturing Employee Sentiment Toward the CEO
Love of Workplace Index® and Executive Insights: We analyze employee feedback from participating companies using the Love of Workplace Index® tool. Combined with our machine learning tool, this measures employees’ sentiment toward their CEOs. Our focus includes leadership effectiveness, communication, mentorship, and overall support the CEO provides.
Step 2: CEO Experience Survey
We conduct a comprehensive survey among employees at these organizations to gauge their experiences and overall perception of their CEO’s leadership. This phase leverages data points from employees regarding their CEO’s effectiveness and the impact of their leadership on the company’s culture.
Step 3: Deep Dive into Public Perception and CEO Development Focus
We conduct an in-depth review of publicly available information, including company websites, leadership development resources, and industry publications. Additionally, we analyze media coverage and public perception through our sentiment and emotion analysis tool. This allows us to understand how the CEO is perceived regarding their leadership and the company’s commitment to fostering strong leadership.
Step 4: Industry Recognition
We review published and validated awards or recognitions within the past 18 months regarding the leadership capabilities of the analyzed CEOs. This step helps identify companies and CEOs lauded for their leadership and positive impact on company culture.
Step 5: Validation and Scoring
We calculate a unique “CEO Development & Support” rating for each company using our proprietary workplace sentiment and emotion analysis tool. The top-scoring companies, as determined by the sentiment toward their CEOs, are then recognized on the Most Loved Workplaces® for CEOs list.
